Role: Bus is the ill-tempered psychopathic killer of the Al Bhed resistance group. Bus' specialties include brutally slaughtering foes, airship infiltration, training wild MERLE, and flying while suspended on silver wings. His only goal in life is to claim the Escaflowne so that he may become the Wind Goddess' bitch servant upon her birth. Secretly, Bus likes to carve small animals out of wooden blocks, but that scene was cut out of the movie for being boring. Background: Bus grew up in the in Ford Truck Kingdom of Middle Earth. The Ford Truck Clan ruled over their people with honor and dignity. Bus had everything that a little boy could ever want; loving parents, a big sister brother to look up to, a small fluffy puppy, nobility, hundreds of swords, all of the latest gaming platforms, and his very own pokemon, MERLE. From the age of three, Bus spent most of his time training his MERLE, so that he may enter her into Pokemon tournaments. It was always Bus' dream to become the world's greatest Pokemon master. He would always announce before each Pokemon battle, "I wanna be the very best, like no one ever was!!" MERLE would often add, "PIKA, PIKA! MERLE, MERLE!" When Bus wasn't pokemon training, he was receiving swordplay lessons from his big brother Jareth Ramrod Ford Truck. The two spent many hours comparing sword sizes and techniques. Afterwards the two would then talk about sex. Bus saw something odd about his brother. While watching movies such as Legend, Bus would stare obsessively at Mia Sara and Annabelle Lanyon, though Jareth seemed to have his eyes focused on Tom Cruise and even more intensively on Tim Curry. Still, Bus had no idea as to why this was. When Bus turned five, his homophobic father King Pickup Ford Truck announced to the world that Bus would become the next king. Jareth was enraged by this. He couldn't understand how his toddler of a brother could succeed the throne. He asked his father why. King Pickup's answer caused Jareth to go insane, murdering his entire family, except for Bus who was too short to be seen. The whole Ford Truck Kingdom was then burned to the ground by Jareth. Worst of all, he then took the life of Bus's fluffy puppy, Moped. In front of Bus's own eyes, the puppy was brutally slain. All Bus could do was stare in horror. After the violence had settled, poor five-year-old Prince Bus Ford Truck became overwhelmed with feelings of hate, confusion and insanity. His mind warped into that of a serial killer. But before Bus could act out on these intentions, he found the only other survivor of the Ford Truck Kingdom, his dear pokemon, MERLE, who had only escaped Jareth's genocide because she was resting inside of her Pokeball. MERLE became a sanity point for Bus. Just one that didn't work all of the time. ...or any of it. When Bus was 14 years old, he was caught by the Imperial Purple Flaming Dragon Clan ground forces. Bus was strapped to a wall for "safekeeping." The enemy's reasons for not slaying Bus remain unknown to all but the Clan's leader, Gay Lord Foker. Shortly after Bus's capture, the Al Bhed resistance group got into a fight with the Flaming Dragons and won. During their plundering of the goods, their leader Sephiroth Sexar found poor Bus trying to gnaw off his arms to escape his restraints. Bus was taken in as a member of Sexar's sexy family (the "sexy" part implies only Sephiroth himself). MERLE joined as well. She vowed to never remain inside her pokeball ever again so that if Bus were ever in trouble, then she could help (though we all have the feeling she would only make it worse). Free from her pokeball, she remains almost literally attached to Bus' side. Within little time, Bus began to see Sephiroth as the big sexy brother he never had. They bonded nicely, though they still fight over Sexar's liberal use of the Herbal Essence shampoo.
